It's funny how God just makes things fall into place sometimes. Take today for instance; The apartment has been a total disaster area lately (as per usual) and sense I'm in between jobs at the moment (which is the polite way to say "they fired my @$$") and my car is in the shop (again) I decided that I should roll up my sleeves, dive in, and sanitize as much as I can while my room mate is at work. I had my boyfriend say a prayer for me to have the energy (he had to go to work too) I worked hard for quite some time. I finally set my profile icon. It's not really mine though, it was posted by leniinha here on dA. I picked this one because the little bunny looks a lot like the animal form of the Kabbit (see journal entry #1) although the Kabbit has a lion-like tail. I plan on making my own icon/avatar soon, but for the time-being I like this one just fine. As for what I'm doing now, I just couldn't wait until I got home to color that turkey picture I drew yesterday. It's thanks giving today, I've always loved this holiday but it can be a bit taxing for a Vegan. I made my tofurkey, stuffing, veggies, and a chocolate pie, and my mom made the traditional carnivorous fare for her and mt brother. we had a quiet dinner, just the three of us, and afterwards I felt like breaking in some of my new pencils so i drew a picture. The picture i drew was of a pair of turkeys (a male and a female). I wanted to show how beautiful (live) turkeys are. Seeing as I'm at my mom's I don't have the tools to finish it, but I promise to ink and scan it once i get home ^^
